Every engagement, every retainer, every fee — published.
Most technology consultancies do not publish prices. We do. Each engagement on this page is a defined, productised offering with a fixed scope and a fixed fee. The Fractional CTO retainer is offered in three named tiers, each with a fixed monthly price.
Custom and extended engagements — multi-entity groups, regulated environments, post-deal integration, programme-of-work scope — are quoted separately.
The ladder
Five price points cover the productised engagements. Pick the depth that fits the moment. Each engagement leads to a defined deliverable, in writing, on a fixed timeline.

Plus the Fractional CTO retainer at three monthly tiers — €5,000, €10,000, or €15,000 — depending on commitment.

Fractional CTO — monthly retainer
The ongoing engagement. Three named tiers, each with a fixed monthly fee and a defined commitment. Most clients start at Light or Standard and adjust after the first quarter as the work settles.
- Light — €5,000 / month. One day per week. Strategic counsel, board attendance, leadership support. Best where the technology function is established and senior input is needed selectively.
- Standard — €10,000 / month. Two days per week. The full Fractional CTO engagement. Board cadence, vendor governance, technology decisions, team mentoring.
- Engaged — €15,000 / month. Three days per week or formal board / non-executive technology role. For businesses where senior technology presence is needed at intensity, including transformation programmes, regulated-environment governance, or significant change.
Compared with hiring a full-time CTO at €200,000–€350,000 fully loaded, the Fractional CTO retainer delivers senior technology leadership at a fraction of the cost — typically twenty to forty per cent of the equivalent full-time package — with the option to scale up or down as the business changes.

Why we publish prices
Most consultancies do not publish prices because, for most consultancies, the work is bespoke and the price varies with what the buyer can be persuaded to pay. That is not productisation. It is negotiation in marketing’s clothing.
Our engagements are productised. The scope is defined on each product page. The deliverables are listed. The timeline is set. The price is the price. A buyer reading this page can plan a budget, take it to a board, and start the conversation already aligned on the order of magnitude.
Where the work is genuinely custom — and it sometimes is — we quote separately.
What this page does not cover
Custom programmes of work — multi-month, multi-stream, or covering implementation alongside oversight — are quoted on the basis of scope, not from a rate card. The conversation starts with the same primary CTA below.
Specialist engagements outside our scope — offensive security testing, regulatory legal opinion, software engineering delivery, full audit attestation — are referred to specialist firms. We do not bill on referrals, and we do not accept commissions for them.
Common questions about cost and pricing
How much does a Fractional CTO cost? €5,000 to €15,000 per month, depending on the tier. The Light tier (one day per week) is €5,000; Standard (two days per week) is €10,000; Engaged (three days or board role) is €15,000. There is no equity ask, no commission on third-party recommendations, and no automatic escalation.
How much does technology due diligence cost? €30,000 for the standard engagement, fixed fee. Extended scope — regulated targets, multi-entity groups, post-deal integration — is typically €50,000–€100,000+ depending on complexity, quoted separately. The Pre-LOI Red Flag Review at €4,950 is the faster, smaller engagement for buyers still evaluating whether to proceed.
How much does an architecture review cost? €15,000 for the standard engagement. Three to four weeks. Five written artefacts including a current-state assessment, risk register, dependency map, written recommendations, and an executive presentation.
What is the rate for a technology consultant? We do not bill by the hour or the day. Every engagement on this page is fixed fee, defined scope. Where extended scope applies, it is quoted as a fixed extension, not as additional billable time.
Are these prices in EUR? Yes. All published prices are in euros and exclude VAT where applicable. Invoicing is from Cyprus.
