Software, built properly. Or taken over when it wasn’t.
A new store, a website, an AI product, a SaaS platform; or a twenty-year-old system nobody else will touch. We do the straightforward work well, and we specialise in complex systems.
We respond within one working day. Tell us as much as you can.
Build it. Fix it. Start from scratch. Simple or complex, static or dynamic, manual or automated.
We do it all.
Most projects arrive with the client saying:
- We’re building something that doesn’t exist yet.
- We want a store that actually sells, not just a website.
- We have an idea and no idea whether it’s buildable.
- We think AI could help. We don’t want AI for the sake of it.
- We’re replacing the whole thing and starting again.
- We’re growing and our systems aren’t.
And sometimes it starts with something already broken:
- Our developer has stopped replying.
- We paid for something that was never finished.
- Our system is no longer supported and nobody will touch it.
- We want to leave our supplier and we can’t get our data out.
- Nobody here knows how it works.
- It keeps breaking and we’ve stopped reporting it.
You already know it needs someone. The question is who.
Someone who can take responsibility for the whole thing.

We build from nothing — stores, sites, applications, SaaS products, AI features — and we build properly, because most of the sentences in the second list are there because somebody didn’t.
We also take over software other people won’t touch — whatever it’s written in. Windows or Linux, twenty years old or eighteen months, documented or not. We approach the straightforward jobs with the same engineering discipline that makes the difficult ones possible: complicated systems are what we specialise in.
You own the code from the first commit. If you leave, you leave with everything you need to keep going, and we’ve written down what that means. If a specialist becomes unavailable mid-job, the work carries on, because it was set up so it could.
Sixteen Pillars Studio is the delivery side of Sixteen Pillars. Richard King runs both.
